POGO Stores

Do you have a web site and would like to offer products and services to your visitors, but are deterred because of the cost and complexity of providing such services? Pogo Stores allows you to instantly create a custom store and display the products and services from one or more of the affiliates of your choice. By simply adding a single line of JavaScript (or PHP) into your HTML code, you will instantly be offering products and services from one or more of the affiliates that are part of our program. Here is a sample snippet of code that will dynamically generate your tailored store:

 

Each store that you create is fully customizable. You control the colors, whether you want to display the search bar, number of products per line, number of lines per page, default search results, etc... Once customized, simply insert the generated Java or PHP into the HTML page where you would like to display your store. The example to the right is using the default colors and search results, but with 3 products per line being displayed.

Cost Structure

There is absolutely no cost to join our program. When you sign up with the affiliates of your choice, you will be asked for your unique affiliate ID (e.g. your Shareasale ID if the affiliate's home is Shareasale). When your store is displayed, the product links will contain your affiliate ID every three displays. On the 4th display of the store, our affiliate ID will be substituted. In other words, 75% of your visitor clicks are registered with your id, and 25% are registered with our ID. For high volume accounts, we offer a flat rate monthly fee where your affiliate ID is displayed 100% of the time. How does it work?

Simply create a store and add the affiliates of your choice to the store. When adding an affiliate, you will be asked for your unique affiliate ID. This will then be used in the product links when your store is displayed. Using the account maintenance you can create one or more stores, and each store can contain one or more affiliates. You can tailor the look at feel of each store (number of products, products per line, table colors, etc...). Multiple stores gives you the flexibility of supporting multiple web sites from a single account or unique stores for different pages within your site.

Affiliate Feed Maintenance

As part of our weekly maintenance cycle, all affiliate feeds are reloaded into our database to insure that the products and services that are displayed in your stores are current and up to date. Occasionally, affiliate feeds are not available. When this occurs, the existing feeds are used until the feed becomes available from the affiliate. There are also times when an affiliate goes out of business or they stop maintaining or providing a feed. When this occurs, the affiliate is dropped from our service, and any stores that contained that affiliate are automatically updated to remove the affiliate. If your store contained just that one affiliate, an error message will be displayed asking you to add a new affiliate to the store.
